What are the optional link fields used for?

If you would like to use the optional features before you create the participant link, follow these steps before you click the Create Link or Create & Send Link buttons.


  • URL Extension. After entering the above information, if would you like to customize the link, enter a single word or phrase with no spaces in the URL Extension field.

    I.e., you want to append the link with your participants first name, Jane. Enter Jane in the URL Extension.

    You will immediately notice the link appears below the field with /Jane in it. I.e., www.blindspots.me/Jane

  • Tags. You can enter Tags. Type in a single word and press Enter or Space after each tag.

    You might use tags for tracking why you sent the link, what role an applicant is applying for, etc.

  • Expires. Choose to expire the unique link after X number of clicks or on a certain date.

  • Redirect Expired URL to. Have the expired link redirect to any page on your site by entering the complete URL (including the http:// or https://) in the URL field.

  • UTM Tracking Codes. If you want to add additional tracking information to the link, enter the marketing information in the UTM fields. For more information on UTM Tracking, click here.
